Ingredients:
- 1 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 sticks butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1/4 cup Hoosier Hill Farm Instant Milk Powder
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
Easy Sugar Cookies
Instructions:
Step one: Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step two: In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar. Add the eggs and vanilla and beat until combined.
Step three: In a medium bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients. Slowly mix the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients and mix until dough forms. Chill the dough in the fridge for at least one hour.
Step five: Place dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart. Press down each ball of dough with your hand, making them into your desired size cookie.
Step six: Bake at 350°F for 8-10 minutes until the cookies set and begin to brown. Then pull them out and let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
